While the previous Connexions Leicester Shire site contained a wealth of content, it was confusing to use and had a design approach that was rather narrowly targeted at the low end of Connexions’ primary audience.
The new design draws its inspiration from youth brand sites such as Red Bull and aims to be aspirational and non-condescending.
There is nearly 100% awareness of the Connexions brand among its target audience, with Connexions being introduced to students at age 13. The site is an information and advice service, a way of making contact with centres around the Leicestershire area and a channel for one-to-one contact with advisers.
