Creating attractive, usable websites

Headscape has carried out several projects for Apetito since 2004, of which the major interactive design project is Wiltshire Farm Foods. Wiltshire Farm Foods is the direct-to-consumer brand of Apetito, one of Europe's largest producers of ready meals.

The latest version of the site, launched in mid-2006, incorporates user-generated content including product ratings and comments.

What we did on this project:

Usability testing
We believe in keeping user testing lightweight and inexpensive. This enables us to test throughout the development process, not just at the end.
Search engine optimisation
A high online profile is important to WFF and we worked with them to ensure their site was as visible as possible.
CMS and eCommerce development
Behind the WFF lies a complex ecommerce system which integrates with a nation wide franchise system.
Design
The WFF brand is aimed at the over 50s market and we worked hard to ensure the design appealed to this group.
