Chris Henderson

Chris is an up and coming web developer, eager to learn and leave his mark on the World Wide Web. Having studied Mathematics at university he has an interest in all things pure, statistical and applied. After working in Fortran 90 to complete his final year dissertation he picked up the bug for programming and began the first steps in his development career.

What do you do at Headscape?

As Headscape’s (second!) newest web developer, I provide assistance to the more senior members of the team as I learn the ins-and-outs of the development world. Going forward I will be working with the Headscape team to provide back-end web development.

What do you do when you aren’t doing that?

I’m learning as much about web development as I can, and trying to get used to the fact I’m now a Southerner and live closer to France than home.

What has been your favourite project to work on and why?

As of now, all I’ve worked on is the Big Butterfly Count so I guess this is my favourite. I do enjoy that I get to help the environment with my first job (I blame my eco-friendly girlfriend).

Do you have a hobby or interest we should know about?

I enjoy any sport where sweat is not involved and differential equations are required.

What is your greatest personal achievement?

I survived going to secondary school in Hartlepool and I’ve made it to the grand old age of 22 without hanging any primates.
